System Clavius
The team of the Documentation department of ÚKS worked for a couple of years to convert the printed Knihopis to the electronical form. The result of their work was a huge tagged text file which was prepared to be converted to some kind of a database. The SQL version of the system Clavius was chosen as the right database engine since it is robust enough to allow many users to access the data at the same time. The system is also flexible enough to accomodate all our needs. They provide for us also an excellent techical support.
